I did wear this fragrance on my skin a couple of times. In my experience, you get the cakey scent for about a minute before the gunpowder comes at you. Once it settles it smells like an old book. Kind of damp paper and old perfume kind of a thing. I still really enjoy it but not something I would recommend for a person who wants gourmand. Not as sweet as it seems from the get
