My backyard is absolutely full of these because I just stick the roots in the dirt whenever I buy some. They come up every year and for the last few years they've been blooming and dropping seeds. I haven't needed to buy green onion in a long time 🥰

I haven’t bought scallions in 2 years.. I plant the white stems and any regular onion bottoms and I have been able to grow unlimited scallions through freezes and blistering hot summers. I recommend everyone do it!

My Costco had this once. It was magical. Made scallion kimchi and ate scallions grilled with romesco. I could bath in scallions. Sadly it was a one time
