but its relative time...it still takes YOU a very long time on the journey, you might travel for 10 years, but relative to people on earth 100 years might pass, ect it doesnt make the trip quicker for you in your own rime

Real problem is constant acceleration. Even fusion drive have limits and you will not be able to accelerate beyond some speed. Another problem is energy you have to store or gather making trips to such distances. And finally space is not empty. Good luck travelling with speeds close to speed of light.
