Seven years ago, I made history being sworn into the PA House as the first Muslim woman during Women’s History Month, hand on my son Charles’ Qur’an, with my son Donte’ placing my engraved House pin on my lapel. My son 💔 I knew I wasn’t welcomed but I didn’t come for acceptance. I came to deliver and deliver I did. In six months, I brought money & resources home to create jobs and provide real pathways away from violence for our communities. I am consistent. #checkmyrecord #foreverRepMovita #goat
