There are 8 data centers in St. Louis alone! Yes, they aren’t the most appealing things in the world, but the amount of misinformation about them is astounding. As electricians, we are huge fans of them! They won’t contaminate your water, as they use a closed-loop system. They won’t raise your energy bill because they provide their own power. Hell, maybe the $40-something million they’ll bring in yearly will give the Festus School District enough money so we aren’t getting gouged on personal property taxes every year!
