When I was younger and telling stories I self inserted myself into fictional universed (at the time it was octonauts), I actually used to just be able to go on and on about something that happened without even thinking about it. I think I need to exercise that skill and just let it happen, and I'm now starting to believe I just had memories of a DR and I was shifting without remembering it, especially when I look at my childhood drawings and I know exactly what was happening in each one without remembering when I drew them. So yeah, although I haven't tried this yet, I wonder if using those old skills and using my childhood self's mind in a way could help

I really need help how do you get over the fear of shifting? Every time I feel like I’m about to make it, I get this sudden fear and I stop myself. It’s happened so many times and I don’t know what to do anymore. It honestly makes me feel so bad because I know I’d have an incredible experience 😭

my fave thing is getting memories randomly bc i'll be thinking if smth related to my dr and smth will come up related to that dr or another and it's such a fun thing until i start questioning if it's a memory or headcanon about my dr 😅 but this sounds like smth fun to try
