There’s no problem with making a profit. The problem comes in when you’re over charging cause your time is to valuable and your knowledge is outrageous putting in a few screws and cutting a straight line.

I did some framing and Drywall. in a basement. After I was almost done, he asked the frame and sheetrock more wall, and I gave him a price, he said it was too high. It was less per square foot than what I did the other walls I did . he Figured it out by hours and thought I made too much money. Which is why other walls should be less. The rest of the job was uncomfortable and I did not do the other job. He did pay me though for the contracted job . He kept apologizing and said, I'll pay you what you wanted and I was like, no. It just leaves a bad taste in your mouth.
