@moneystocker: You’ll never be motivated to invest until you understand the power of compounding returns. The money you put into your ISA and pension may one day be dwarfed by the growth they generate. When I started seeing my investments return more each year than I was putting in, it was a real lightbulb moment for me. Maybe one day I really could live off my money... ...of course, some years I lose money too. It’s not all sunshine and rainbows! But that’s why investing can be such an incredible tool for building wealth. It allows you to own assets that can put money in your pocket while you sleep. You own a tiny piece of Google, Apple, Meta, or whatever companies you invest in, and the employees at those companies are working every day to make those businesses more valuable.
