Grief is debilitating and has no expiration. You’ll never accept this new life but rather adapt. You will see glimpses of her in your other children & it will warm your ♥️all while breaking you. Don’t hide behind “I’m fine”, it’s okay not to be. Accept some days you just aren’t, that’s okay too. It’s okay for your other babies to see you cry, I used to try to hide it but realized my 6yo felt bad for bringing up her brother. It also let her know it’s okay to show emotion. Most importantly there’s no “right way” to grieve. I pray for you & your family. I pray for your strength to stand when those waves inevitably crash into you. I pray the memories of her that lead to tears will follow with smiles. Moments you’re able to live in. I’m a firm believer my son visits his siblings. I believe he lets his presence known in a way that brings them a little peace, I hope the same for yours. 💜
