You make them by putting yourself in situations that require presence. Adventure compresses time and shared experience accelerates connection. A week of waterfalls, windburn and long van ride chats did more for me than a year of staying comfortable ever could. 2️⃣ A camera doesn’t just document a trip, it changes the way you see it. Having something in my hands forced me to slow down and notice light, patterns and human moments I would’ve otherwise missed with just my phone. When you’re looking for photos you just look a little longer and see more. It wasn’t about having pro camera gear, it was about having a reason to pay attention and that changed the whole trip for me. 3️⃣ The right structure creates freedom. I have never taken a group trip because I was scared I would lack freedom but really freedom was exactly what it gave. Traveling with Intrepid Travel meant I didn’t have to think about logistics, timing, bookings, scams or any other unknowns. All I had to think about was experiencing the country and meeting the people. I went to Iceland thinking I was celebrating a birthday.
