There was a point in time where it would get up at 5:30 am to get ready and catch the 6:24 school bus for an hour and a half long bus ride to tech school, then get on another bus once that was over and come back to regular high school, and then Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday I would go to work my shitty server job from 4 or 5 to 11:30pm and my mom didn’t say a thing. But when I talk about going to college she says “you’ll have to balance classes and a job and extracurriculars and you’ll have the social aspect and your girlfriend distracting you the whole time I just don’t think you’ll be able to do it 🙄”. My own mother has no faith in me to succeed in any capacity.
