Definitely shouldn’t be paying for a portion of the mortgage as it gives him interest in the flat if they break up, he may be entitled to a portion of the flat. Further to this, he shouldn’t be paying for the mortgage as it is her asset - so again, when they break up, he has contributed to her asset without any benefit for himself so he has completely lost out.

It’s both of their choice to stay in the flat she has bought. Definately should not be paying the mortgage. Defo the food and maybe some bills or you could just say he is responsible for the food shop rather than the dates.

He needs to move in and pay some kind of rent.. 4/5 nights is basically all the time not 50/50 split of the mortgage but doesn’t make sense for her to basically pay for all their living costs. He’d have to pay something if he moved out of home

If he isn’t having his stuff there and at the end of the day she can say don’t come round, just date nights are good to be honest. You’ve got to commit one way or the other

No way pay rent when your partner is paying a mortgage. Either share the mortgage and the ownership or accept that your boyfriend will be there and you don’t charge him for it. He should contribute to bills if he’s using electricity/food/etc
