I was in Xi’an in April to see the Terra-cotta worries it’s a magnificent and the city is beautiful !!!

The tomb of the Emperor has not been located yet. But, I read that even if they find it, they will not open it until they have the technology to preserve the artifacts inside of the tomb. Plus, the tomb is reputed to have traps that can pose a danger to those opening it. Archaeologists have to be extra cautious.

So true, you really have to see them in personal otherwise you won’t feel how imposing and stunning it is. That’s how I felt when I visited it, nothing like seeing them in photos or on TV.
