I know many sisters struggle with the hijab young and old. I did too. I started wearing it two and a half years ago, at the age of 43. It took me a long time but guidance comes when it is meant to. One moment changed everything for me. I was overwhelmed with fear. fear of death. And in that moment, nothing else mattered. Not beauty, not people, not this world. Just my meeting with Allah. That day, I chose the hijab not for people, but for Allah Subhanahu Wa T'ala. Since then, it has given me a peace I can’t describe. Every step outside feels protected. Every struggle feels meaningful. Every sacrifice feels seen. This world is temporary. Beauty fades. Opinions fade. But what we do for Allah never fades. May Allah forgive us, accept our deeds, and reward us for the good. 🤲🏻🤍🥺
