@donaldsdoggiehave: Exactly one year ago today, we decided Pinky’s life mattered. All it took was for one person to open their heart and inconvenience themselves for a little while to save her life. Pinky, a senior chihuahua, was found in desolate conditions. When we rushed her to the vet we honestly didn’t have much hope. Surprisingly, she didn’t have any major diseases, but shortly after entering foster care, we learned she was in congestive heart failure. In that moment, her foster mom knew that Pinky had already found her home, with her. Despite everything, she asked to adopt her, and we couldn’t have agreed more. And look at her now! Living a life she never thought she’d still be living, yet here she is, still here, still loved and still fighting. Proof that love doesn’t just heal, it can truly extend a life. 💖 Happy Rescue Day, sweet Pinky girl, you are so, so loved! And to her amazing mom, @_jessicanicole14 , thank you for helping us save her and giving her the beautiful life she always deserved.💖
