@catscostumery: No vintage hairpins were harmed in the making of this video 🙅‍♀️ But I am so glad I did decide to use them! I mostly collect these little historical treasures because I love them, and they sit on a shelf and are static again. But these hairpins were common, mass-produced items, in excellent condition, and I have hair, so… yes! Using stitches means they are not damaged and the flowers are easily removed. What better place for these little pieces of history to shine again if not at a ball? #History #vintage #vintagefashion #fashion #sewing
