As a kid I went to a wrestling show at a small arena and Kamala came out with his manager and walked toward us and had a piece of raw liver and took a bite of it , I was nervous

Piper said it best, they bring you in and you are on top of the world but there is no exit plan and once the business is done with you they take ya out back and put ya down. He wasn't wrong and yet that term independent contractor shouldn't be allowed for signed talent not allowed to work elsewhere.

It’s because wrestlers have always just been “independent contractors” instead of actual employees so wrestling promoters didnt have to take care of them and it’s still like that.
