First trip to Rome was in January 2019.....5 days... weather was great, cold but clear skies and hardly any tourists....no waiting for the Vatican museum, only about thirty people at the Trevi fountain.....it was like we had Rome to ourselves 🥰

Went to Spanish steps, Trevi fountain and The colosseum 3am-6am Colosseum for sunrise saw less then 10 people got all the pictures I wanted tourist free then went then got breakfast while I waited for my colosseum time to approach💯

Great time to get a nice long lunch and stroll the streets. We had the vatican, spanish steps, trevi etc all done by midday (we woke up 3am)

our first night in Rome we stumbled across the Pantheon at about 11:30 p.m... We knew what it was when we saw it but we wasn't expecting it as we turned the corner. truly breathtaking. some of our best experiences was late at night or at 4:00 a.m. when I got up for sunrise photos before the world started.
