The update to version 5.5 of Suno AI is unfortunately a clear step backwards. In previous versions, it was easy to create clean Cloud Rap or Trap Metal tracks—without background shouts, crowd noises, or unnecessary yelling. That level of creative control now seems to be gone. Almost every track is automatically filled with these elements, even when you’re specifically aiming for a clean sound. This is especially frustrating for Cloud Rap. Instead of getting minimal, atmospheric tracks, the output now feels generic and closer to mainstream pop production. This forced “commercial” style takes away the ability to create something unique and authentic. It feels like the system is now pushing everything in one direction instead of allowing real creative freedom. Updates should improve what already works—not remove or weaken features that people rely on. I really hope Suno shifts its focus back to flexibility and user control. Not everyone wants overproduced, mass-appeal tracks—sometimes less is more.

The examples that YouTubers have done so far didn't sound that good. The feature that I want next is suno taking your existing recording and just mastering it. My voice is fine, I just wish suno would take my existing voice and just mastering it so that it sounds top-notch professional. like I don't need the app to replicate my voice.

That's nice but I paid the yearly subscription back in February and Pro level has yet to show on my account. After multiple emails to support, no action yet. I've written it off as a loss. Sad😂
