I’m so tired of people seeing a high heart rate and automatically saying it’s pots. You even mentioned that it’s been ruled out for you too. Ppl rlly need to stop throwing around a diagnosis that doesn’t fit you at all 😞

You need to see an electrophysiologist, which is a cardiologist who specializes in the electrical conduction of the heart.

How are you getting hospitalized for this for these testings? My heart rate reached 202 my bp was 194/132 and I still got sent home after a couple hours and I did have symptoms 😭 I wish I could get admitted to do all testing at once and figure it out. I have episodes atleast 2 times a week

If all testing has been normal I would ask about IST (Inappropriate Sinus Tachycardia) my resting HR was always 90 to 100 and just moving slightly my HR would have an exaggerated response. If you don’t have an electrophysiologist I’d ask for a referral for one. I take propranolol now and my HR has been controlled very well.

I have Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome. My heart could go 280 while I was resting before i had my ablation. I hadn’t done anything when my heart would go nuts. No other symptoms except extreme exhaustion and pain through my body.

My son has SVT and had two ablations because of the high heart rate, but I think they would have caught that on you already. Maybe Afib? My husband had multiple ekgs and CT scans, he had a 30 day holter monitor and they did mapping of his heart and couldn’t find a thing. They placed a loop recorder and 11 days later he was diagnosed with Afib and is having an ablation next week. Good luck to you!!
