@epicuriousexpeditions: Disability-Friendly String Beans and Potatoes 1/2 lb smoked neck bones 1 1/2 cups water or low sodium broth 1 cup frozen onions, defrosted 1 1/2tsp seasoned salt 1 tbs dehydrated minced garlic 1/2 tsp black pepper 2 tbs oil 12 oz frozen string beans, defrosted 10 oz frozen roasted potatoes, defrosted Add neck bones, onions, water, seasonings, and oil to a slow cooker. Cover and cook on high at least 1 hour, up to overnight (add additional cup of water if cooking overnight). Add string beans. Continue cooking on high for about 2 hours. Add potatoes. Cook until warmed through and ideal texture of string beans is achieved, about an additional 30 minutes-1 hour. #easter #disability #Recipe

Can I ask a favor? When you say things like “nearly done” can you give an estimate of the time? For example, “when the green beans are nearly done with about 5-10 minutes left”. I think that’d be very helpful for neurodivergent/intellectually disabled people. Thank you!
