3 tenants sharing one bathroom is grosssssssss!!!! That window has to be left open 24/7 to avoid condensation which causes damp=mould= health hazard

Window open, door closed!!! Don’t let the moisture get into the rest of the house. It’s literally often written in tenancy agreements! Defo have a convo coz that bathroom is gonna get so mouldy and the paint will peel.

I spoke to my housing about mole in the showeroom she like do u have the window open when ur in the shower I said no she’s like u have to to stop the mole 😳😳I said it’s winter 🥺iam like 59 and the cold is bad ….now I have a new showeroom because I complain every week for a yr 😳

I’m with everyone else - window open, door closed. Steam will exit pretty fast but not dampen the rest of the house. Barb probably doesn’t think about it so a “hey girls can we just… “ message would be cool if you have a group chat for the flat.

You are both wrong but she’s more wrong (depending on time of year). Your way of doing it door open and window open in summer is fine. You close the door and leave the window open until the steam has left the building in winter so you don’t die of hypothermia. Window closed is always wrong. You probably need an extractor fan.

The landlord will be so mad if the bathroom is not being ventilated it will cause damp and mould and will cost him money to correct it and he might pass the cost down to you guys

Personally, window open and door closed when I'm in the shower. Then window open and door closed when I'm done. Otherwise the steam just comes out in the hall way 🤷🏼 also in winter if it's absolutely freezing outside, I sometimes leave my dehumidifier in there too to clear the steam quicker.

Nah you’ve got to vent it once you’re done. Get the window open let the room dry out or you’ll end up with damp and mold

I have a thing against cold air. So no window open but after show leave door open so it can air out. I shared a bathroom on the 2nd floor with 4 other siblings and my mom when I was younger. Always left door open to unclog the air.
