@crmnallyobsessed: The "monster" who murdered Oregon woman Kaley Ann Snow has been sentenced to life in prison for his crimes. Bobby Alsup, 33, had been renting a home from Snow in March 2024 when he killed her with a hammer, hid her body in a shed, and later set the structure on fire. A jury convicted him of multiple charges, including second-degree murder and arson, and he must serve nearly 30 years before being eligible for parole. At his sentencing, Snow's mother, Tracey, said "Kaley tried to help others every chance that she got. She tried to help you, too, but instead of being thankful or appreciative or anything like that, you beat her over the head with a hammer and set her on fire. What kind of monster does that to a human being?" Alsup had a documented history of violent offenses prior to the murder. In 2012, he was convicted of assault, and in 2014 he received an eight-year prison sentence for brutally beating two women. Charges of kidnapping and sodomy were dropped as part of a plea deal in that case. More recently, Alsup was sentenced to an additional five years in prison for assaulting another person while in the Washington County jail. #truecrime #victimimpactstatement
