when I'm trying not to cry while singing, I tell myself I owe it to whoever can hear me to hit the note so they can cry, while I just focus on the lyrics and expressing the emotion instead of feeling it for them lolol also sorry I keep commenting your content is great and so helpful

Thank you a bunch for this! I'm so glad I found your page ...my issue with singing is definitely primarily psychological but I've never seen any vocal coach take the mental health side of singing seriously. So your content is extra valuable to us who hold back out of guilt / fear/ lack of self-confidence. You make a lot of sense to us.

it's my confidens in my voice and finding the tune or note when I try to sing without someone singing with me. I relay on them to keep my tune and dont mess up the song (dont remember what its called?) kind of "tempo". Many say that they love my voice but I feel like I have no clue what im doing 🙈😅
