I used to boil my water in the microwave 🙈 but since watching your videos I DID get an electric tea kettle! Game changerrrr! And I say “check your tea color” to myself whenever I make a cup 😊

My Granny made a pot of tea every day. But if boiled water in the ceramic tea pot to heat it, tea cozy, two tea bags, boil the kettle until full steam, pour in pot, wait four minutes exactly, and pour. Milk and sugar were allowed :).
