Worked in the vet field. Even if you don’t have trees or around woods with Oklahoma wind ticks and flees can be carried by wind.

My girl Poppy had an allergic reaction to one medication, but we just switched her to a different one and she’s been fine. Always advocate for your dogs and try different things.

My husband did a LOT of research on preventatives before we settled on one for our lab - so many of them have neurological side effects!! We have a lot of ticks where we live so we have to do the flea/tick & we finally settled on Nexguard. We use Hartguard too!!

We have a rescue that was hw+ for 4 years. She was on a low dose of antibiotics (for a month, yearly) and monthly Heart guard she's free from hw. ✌

We use Nexgard Plus! One pill for all 3. We have to break it up over their food but it works well for us🥰

I’ve had a dog with heartworms, it’s heartbreaking! Luckily we found out REALLY early, and was treated. I felt so bad!
