I wish excellence was enough, but for a lot of us, the lack of financial aid for transfers is the ultimate dealbreaker. It’s hard to talk about 'merit' when the barrier to entry is mostly just money. Must be nice when your bank account matches your ambition, girlll

sat- 1500, 5.74/6.0 weighted, 4.0/4.0 uw, rank 10/567, 22 APs (4s and 5s on 9 of them *last 4 are sr yr*), nationals qualifier for debate (ld), model un founder 4x best del+ outstanding del award, hosa pres, blog founder, internship at international hospital, and good recs, plus good essays and didnt get into any ivies that i applied to. rejected from harvard (got an interview), yale (got an interview), princeton (interview), columbia, upenn. what u have accomplished is amazing and columbia was my dream school for so long. so i was wondering if you could make a video on any steps you took to transfer… or any tips that u would have for me!

DAMN GIRL can i ask which ivies u got into?? i didnt get into the ones i applied to and feel like i might end up trying to transfer but i know some of them are SOOO hard to transfer in to, and my yale portal even said its extremely unlikely to get in when reapplying in a later cycle :(
