You are right nuclear is not technically renewable, i agree in part, but it comes with its own issues. while it would help now and for and forseeable, we would not want be completely dependent on it. I don't know the cost of building a nuclear power plant vs wind or solar power plants or the cost of producing it. But either way it has some major drawbacks. which is why we should/could have multiple ways of production ending dependence on and one.

This is why we need to prioritize solar, wind and other renewable energy sources independent of foreign countries. I have rooftop solar panels and power my house with a house battery and charge two electric vehicles for the past 13 years. The technology exists. We need to remove subsidies for the fossil fuel industry and use it to fund renewable energy. No more wars for oil!
