Saying dismissingly about Fokushima that it was "Only 10% of Chernobyl" is somewhat like saying about a nuclear bomb about to be dropped on your city that it's "Only 10% of Hiroshima". Not very reassuring. Sure, technically Fokushima wasn't as bad as the worst nuclear disaster in history - but still, it was very, VERY bad for all involved.

So I’m confused. I understand they shut the power down. But the reactor has the capability to continue to make power if the generators died right. So spoil them back up and generate power for the cooling
