okay so this happened to me recently I kept on asking for a face pic when I was chatting with someone they refuse every single time I asked for one and then when I said I'm going to block them and not respond to them anymore they sent me a face pic. turns out dude sent me a random face pic he grabbed from online. so here I am thinking that the Facebook is the actual dude I found out it was an online grab because the person whose photo he took was in the same area I was. I was in a library studying for my statistics final. I go up to the dude and ask him if this is him showing him the face picture and he's like yeah that's from my Facebook profile. and he asked where the hell did he get that so I told him and he was like what a jerk so I let the guy take over the conversation as me on the chat and so I had the guy send one from my side the scammer thought that I sent them back the exact same picture but then he noticed the shirt and the background were different. turns out it was a scammer who kept using the dude's picture the scam thousands off of people through a romance scam so that's why I don't do faceless pics anymore or chat with anybody who has a headless torso photo

Someone can have body pics without a face pic, and a body pic is good enough for some ppl. But absolutely no pics at all, often don’t message other ppl without any pics at all. The irony while they don’t have a pic, they don’t want someone else without a pic either lol.

years ago made a rule if I was ever on dating apps, no pic no response. got catfished by a 2 no pics over a 3 month span, each were calming to be 21 and 23 respectively...
