From a former house cleaner… we appreciate when you tidy up the clutter! It makes our job so much easier and you don’t have to worry about where we put things. But no need to wipe anything down, trust us, we like that part lol

i gotta say when i was a housekeeper i loved the dirty houses particularly the lived in ones from busy parents it made me feel like i was actually helping and not just sorta wiping nothing for 2 hours

Part of the reason we hired a cleaner was to pressure ourselves to keep the place tidy. She did the actual cleaning, but it stopped us leaving little clutter piles everywhere cause she couldn’t clean if there was stuff everywhere!
