@socorrosociety: Used our magic mushroom mash-up embroidery and sashiko mending pattern to thrift flip a plain denim skirt. I used a heat erasing pen and eventually @crayola marker to draw some extra foliage around the mushroom and other side of the skirt. I decided to use the satin stitch around the spots so I could carefully cut little holes in the mushroom, which I love! It gives a small peekaboo effect to a longer skirt for some added oomph. Stitches I used: - sashiko patterns: running stitch - mushroom outline- back stitch - mushroom spots- satin stitch - greenery stems- stem stitch - leafs- leaf stitch - flower center- back stitch - flower petals- satin stitch All of our embroidery mash-up patterns can be used for either mending or decorative embroidery. The possibilities are endless. I love this pattern so much, I’m glad I finally had the opportunity to stitch it again. Pattern & supplies available @ socorrosociety.com
