as someone who loves udon - absolutely let them sit for a min to get a touch more cooked/soft. it helps with the texture to make them more bouncy (qq) like tapica pearls. if the texture is the mochi texture being too chewy... thats unavoidable. Hopefully this helps! Udon with chopsticks is a whole new level of motor skills - you will get there! or roll you wrist to kinda scoop the udon a lil

This Asian restaurant I have in my town does these crab stuffed jalapeno peppers with yum yum sauce and eels sauce on top! So fire! I’m addicted to them!
