Replacing everything is best however if the jacket of the old bx cable I s intact and goes to an unaccessible area that would require extensive plaster repairs I would send it.

Sleeving K&T with romex sheathing is a first. Wow. BX I’d option out to replace, that metal jacket technically isn’t an acceptable form of an egc but it’s the 2nd type of wire that was used in homes basically

Brother I love your tictoks. I run a home Reno's company and really want to go get electricians ticket. problem is I can't find a reputable company who will take me on and help me sign off on hours and it will be hard to start at bottom payroll. My dad was a journeyman electrician and he taught me all he knew and I really want to get certified. I'm in a pickle. Any suggestions? I'm 43 with 4 kids and wife lol. I would say I'm a third year in knowledge and experience
