As someone with type 2 diabetes, when I drink it, it raises my blood sugar significantly. It also causes me kidney pain and sometimes a burning sensation during urination.

I think people made up that it makes you crave more sweets and ppl just believe it. I have a diet coke daily and don't crave sweets at all.
