I always tell people this. DO WHAT WORKS FOR YOU. I used to get crap ALL THE TIME about not overloading enough and not doing enough when I was leg pressing over 600 lbs and and easily hip thrusting over 300, three times a week!! I was gaining mass for sure but I wasn’t getting the shape and results that EYE wanted cause I was listening to all these folks yelling at me for not doing this and that. I was looking more body builder-ish and, to each its own, but that wasn’t what I was going for. I realized I was quad dominant and because of the overloading, all I did was make my dominant muscles work harder and grow bigger. I have hip dips as well so that did NOTHING but made me look more boxy. I lowered my weights and focused more on time under tension and mind to muscle connection, doing less days to allow my muscles to rest and finally started getting the results I wanted. I still get people who will give me looks for almost never overloading and doing the same exercises but screw them. I’m not an American Gladiator anymore and I’m okay with that. Lol
