I'm currently experiencing the same thing with my 17.5 year old ShihTzu. I'll hang on for as long as she is. dementia and sundowning is hard to watch

My 15 year old Staffy has good and bad days. The sundowners is creeping in but I’ve noticed he’s a lot calmer when the pheromone plug ins are on throughout the downstairs of the house and the melatonin is given at 7pm

as someone who just lost their 15 yo dog a month ago, know you’re giving them the best life no matter how hard it is for them. they’re your baby you’ll do anything for them 💕
