Disclaimers: I was hungry after work, so I didn’t want to drive 1.5 hrs in traffic hangry. I was in the mood for pasta & it’s right by my job. I had an assignment due that night and instead of scrolling on my phone or staring at the wall I wanted to be productive while eating. I didn’t stay any longer than anyone else would & I always tip. I hope this calms those I’ve triggered. Ty 🫶🏻

As somebody who was a server the people saying get out of my section honestly shame on you some of the best tips I’ve ever gotten are from people that sat at a table for hours trying to get work done.

Honestly? Love when people do this. Having one low maintenance table in the section can be such a relief sometimes. In my experience they always tend to be so nice too.

When I was a bartender, my fav regular was a college kid who would bring his laptop and do homework for 2-3 hours every Sunday. Always left a fat tip and I didn’t have to small-talk him to death since he wore headphones. I still think about him 10 years later ❤️
