@themeparkmom: 🍌⚾️ A realistic day at Disneyland for Savannah Bananas Day… The crowds? Absolutely bananas. Main Street was packed shoulder-to-shoulder before the show even started. People were lining up along the route, camping out in front of the castle, and trying to find any tiny spot with a view. When the cavalcade finally started, the energy was insane. The music, the dancing players, the chaos, the crowd screaming… it honestly felt more like a party than a parade. The Bananas know how to put on a show and the whole park was buzzing. But let’s be real… • Walkways were jammed • virtual queues were impossible and even people who got one still didn’t necessarily make it in to meet and greets • And moving through the hub near the castle? Good luck 😅 Totally chaotic, totally crowded, a little bit frustrating … and honestly still had its fun moments. all groups were called at same time and you had to get your wristband by 2:15. there was no push notification (I at least didnt see mine) but I made sure to check my app to see when i was called

I honestly don't understand how Disneyland decides to organize sporting events. Why have more groups in the virtual queue than the number it's going to get capped at? I understand needing to cap it, just only have the number of groups up to the cap. I stand by my suggestion of going back to having events like this (i.e. Ducks day) as an after dark event. From 6 pm to 10 pm is perfect. That is way too many people to have this during park hours.
