True, I cut my whole family off and moved to another state and never gave them my number or told them what state I was in…. And I have had more peace than I have ever had in years!!!!!

really felt what you said. What I’ve noticed is that when you start setting boundaries—especially with family—people can get uncomfortable because they’re used to you just going along with things. Then suddenly you’re seen as rude or difficult, or they say you don’t like being told what to do, that you don’t listen, or that you think you know it all. But really, you’re just finding your voice and learning to stand up for yourself. And sometimes, without even realizing it, people can keep you in a place of insecurity or low self-esteem, thinking they’re helping or that you just don’t understand because of what they’ve been through. But it can do more harm than good. At the end of the day, choosing to grow, set boundaries, and walk in the light God has for you isn’t wrong—it’s necessary. 🙏

I didn’t realize it, but I’ve been setting a lot of boundaries in my single season! I just got tired of peoples mistreatment and entitlement. Didn’t realize it was preparing me for my future family. I know he shouldn’t have to deal with that & I wouldn’t either!
