@hereisdiving: At depth, pressure increase. At surface, there is 1 bar of pressure, at 20 m, 3 bars of pressure. The diving regulator supplies gas (here it's air) at ambient pressure, so 3 bars in this video. The air that enters and leaves my lungs is at 3 bars, so in the bottle too. I left some water inside the bottle for this experiment. When the bottle is returned to surface and opened up side down, the pressure difference between inside and outside of the bottle creates the air to expands and pushes out the water through the neck, creating a rocket ! 👇 Why does this interest us in scubadiving ? 👇 Among other things, never hold your breath during ascend, because the same mechanism will happen, this is called pulmonary overpressure. If you are a beginner you may not realize that you are ascending, which is why, one of the first rule we teach you in scubadiving is to never hold your breath, and insist on exhaling during ascent. ✅️ Protect your lungs 🫁 Follow me to know more about diving 😊 ⚠️ Video made by a professional, do not attempt to reproduce ⚠️ #scubadiving #physics #underwaterexperience #physicexperiment #explorepage✨
