@shiftwithdebbie: You curl in tuck your hands under press them into your body And it just feels… comfortable 😌 Like you can finally settle But that’s not just how you sleep 👉 your body is looking for pressure Looking for something to hold it to contain it to feel safe enough to switch off It’s like your body needs something grounding it just to relax But here’s the part most women miss: You’re not just choosing that position 👉 your body needs it Because all day your system is running Holding bracing staying slightly on So when you finally stop your body finds a way to create that pressure But it’s only partial relief 👉 which is why it keeps happening and why you can’t stop it once it starts Because your body is holding it And sleep is the only time it gets close to letting go And this doesn’t fix itself You don’t just “grow out” of this You don’t stretch your way out of it If you’ve been sleeping like this for years… be honest 👉 how much longer is your body going to have to hold this on its own Because you don’t have to live like this Comment MAP and I’ll show you exactly where your body is holding this Comment AWAKE if you’re ready to stop overriding your body and finally feel what it’s been trying to release XO Debbie 💛🥂 #survivalmode #somatichealing #highachievingwomen #emotionalregulation #breathwork

I do this and I will also put my hands under myself when I’m laying on my back. It’s definitely a soothing/comfort thing for me. I also have mixed connective tissue disease and have a lot of muscle and joint pain. Sleeping like this helps for some reason.

I am a tummy sleeper, but have bad hips. Doing this raises my hips just high enough to release the pressure that laying on my tummy causes. It’s amazing how much it helps. My ex used to laugh and ask why I try to hide my “stuff” when I sleep. I had to explain the medics behind it 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

When we are going somewhere my hands/fingers will start this crap and my husband will squeeze my fingers as hard as he can. The pressure takes the weird pain away. I also sleep with two heavy blankets the pressure relaxes me and I sleep but my right foot has to be on the outside. Nothing can touch my right foot. Weirdness or WeirdMS!!!

I always have mine tucked when I sleep. If I’m on my side or text between my legs if I’m on my back, they’re touched behind my butt. I’m on my stomach, they’re tucked under the pillows.

I definitely do this, I also do this with one hand under my hip while I sit or drive. Yeah I know it’s not safe while I drive, but been doing this for over 40 years.

I had pain in my hands and started doing this, the pressure was to stop the physical pain. I wonder now, I was sent to a rheumatologist. Thank you.
