What is your hypothyroid due to having radioactive iodine to slow down the hormone due to having hyperthyroidism my doctor now wants to put me on levothyroxine and I'm petrified especially listening to the comments here not sure if I should take that or not

I started on 50mg now on 175mg no one has checked on me for 2 years since that increase. I never feel good, don't sleep gained lots of weight

I take NDT and T3 but my doctor retired, my new doctor is constantly questioning me on why I don’t just take levothyroxine, at the last appointment I asked him to test reverse T3 and he said I don’t know what that is I’ll have to look it up. 😭

I had to fight soooo hard to get my liothyronine prescription from my Endo. It’s a shame we have to advocate so hard for ourselves. She definitely kept me not feeling well for an extra 2 years by only prescribing levo
