Secret roofing is a wait of money to be honest….. after not spending so much on wood or roofing sheet remember you ll be doing some coating on the roof to prevent leakages that alone cos me 13,000.00 … also you get to hear everything that’s happening on ur roofing…. Because the ceiling is very close to the roof … trust me that’s very disturbing…. With my first project I did the normal heap roofing and I loved it till now …. Don’t get me wrong secret roofing is beautiful but it comes with a lot of work to feel it

Dont get Mrs. mensah wrong. She didn’t not complain of leakage. She only said its waste of money because most people go for the secret roofing with the intention that is comes cheap. But the fact is, u end up paying more to secure it from leakage which doesn’t worth it compared to the price of heap roofing. I personally did a walk around secret roofing with about 15 pipe lines for drainage on 3sides. Paid over GHC 11,500 for only treatment (Bitumen method). Did coping cup and everything buh looking at the cost compared to the heap roofing its almost the same and can bodly say it might cost more than the heap roofing if u are to include the cost of concrete slaps for the water.

Even at the copping it’s better for the end to be half on the copping só that you completely cover it with tiles . For the past 4 years now I’ve never had leakages
