That always happens to me and each time it seems to get thinner. That cycle used to really get me down before I found wigs now ive found some peace with it. I'm also in the process of trying to find out why this happens ♡♡♡

Yes it come and goes , I've been living with it over 10 years now. this is my 3rd time loosing my hair , it grows in after a year or two. then 90 % of it falls out again. its a vicious circle for sure.

Alopecia for 17 years. My hair came back twice in the first years then left for good. Had eyebrows made permanent and am happy to at least have eyelashes 😊

I’m working on this as well after pregnancy, being underweight/stressed, but do have a background in biochem so there are some very key things for hair. Adequate protein (huge) + glycine around 8g daily (covers aminos-tastes like sugar, helps sleep, hair, skin, joints, nails etc), ferritin (iron) specifically-can be tested by pcp -beef liver supplement provides iron and retinol which is amazing and also important. Absorbs better w/vit C AND don’t pair w/oxalates like in green tea and other foods. Lugols iodine + 1 Brazil nut (selenium helps absorption etc). DHT (free testosterone) can be an issue so yaz is the best birth control for that, and ketoconizole (shampoo). Zinc and omega 3s matter too. Now vitamins are a very solid brand and affordable. YouTube has good videos for everything-iodine is a good one to learn about. AI is a good resource too. I say iodine because of the thyroid and everyone is basically deficient, but-overdoing some of these can backfire. Don’t use regular table salt (get sea or Celtic)…and 5g creatine twice daily is just awesome in general for longevity, energy and the brain (no workout needed). Hair is basically grooving in a state of abundance, so thinning etc, or any symptoms are either a deficiency, a poison from the environment -which are everywhere or both.

Mine started falling out a year ago and I went to a dermatologist and she put me on a medication and she said it would take a year before my hair would probably start growing back. I took the medicine for six months and then I quit taking it. She told me that it could cause cancer and it’s making me gain weight really bad so I quit taking it. My hair has not started growing back yet. I don’t know if it will and now I have lost all my eyelashes all my eyebrows all the hair all over my body.
