Kev :
I’m working on this as well after pregnancy, being underweight/stressed, but do have a background in biochem so there are some very key things for hair. Adequate protein (huge) + glycine around 8g daily (covers aminos-tastes like sugar, helps sleep, hair, skin, joints, nails etc), ferritin (iron) specifically-can be tested by pcp -beef liver supplement provides iron and retinol which is amazing and also important. Absorbs better w/vit C AND don’t pair w/oxalates like in green tea and other foods. Lugols iodine + 1 Brazil nut (selenium helps absorption etc). DHT (free testosterone) can be an issue so yaz is the best birth control for that, and ketoconizole (shampoo). Zinc and omega 3s matter too. Now vitamins are a very solid brand and affordable. YouTube has good videos for everything-iodine is a good one to learn about. AI is a good resource too. I say iodine because of the thyroid and everyone is basically deficient, but-overdoing some of these can backfire. Don’t use regular table salt (get sea or Celtic)…and 5g creatine twice daily is just awesome in general for longevity, energy and the brain (no workout needed). Hair is basically grooving in a state of abundance, so thinning etc, or any symptoms are either a deficiency, a poison from the environment -which are everywhere or both.
