@pulpfree0j: #HOPECORE A LONG ONE BUT I love this show with all my heart. The AVATARVERSE is all in one universe. I don't differentiate between either shows. I love both of them, all the comics, all the novels. It's fair to have some criticism for the things you like, which I have some criticism with both shows but I still hold them dear to my heart. I watched Aang premiere in 2005 and ended in 2008. I was 9 years old to 12 years old whenever it was releasing and was pivotal to my childhood. When I heard the news that they were going to make a spin off and the avatar was going to be a girl? I was elated. I watched Korra premiere in 2012 and end in 2014 when I was 16-18. That was pivotal to my teenage years. I saw myself in Aang. I saw myself especially in Korra for being a Queer WOC. There are messages of hope and life all throughout the shows which made it such a big impact to anyone who watched it. I am tired of all the discourse with the media illiterates and the ones who hate just to hate. I am always down to delete and block. This universe is diverse, it's inclusive, it was something great that a kid could look up to and it's almost perfect. It teaches us about balance, resilience, friendship, and morals.
