As an autistic child myself, we NEED strict discipline, and this mother is in a very difficult situation with a autistic child that is at flight risk. Is she doing it in the best way possible? No. But is there the best resources out there to deal with children in this capacity? Also no.

There are very few resources available for children dealing with mental health issues. It makes no sense to me how it’s so difficult to be able to get help for your child/family..
