@leahshomestead: People really had a lot to say when I talked about eating egg shells 😅 Some said it’s a waste of time… others said they’ve been doing it for years. What surprised me most was how many different ways people are using them — composting for the garden, feeding them back to chickens, even giving whole eggs (shell and all) to dogs. It made me realize… we’ve gotten so used to throwing things away that still have value. I’m not saying you have to do everything perfectly. We all get that “crunchy mom fatigue” where one day something is good for you and the next day it’s not. But sometimes it’s just about doing the best we can with what we already have.
