@leahshomestead: People really had a lot to say when I talked about eating egg shells 😅 Some said it’s a waste of time… others said they’ve been doing it for years. What surprised me most was how many different ways people are using them — composting for the garden, feeding them back to chickens, even giving whole eggs (shell and all) to dogs. It made me realize… we’ve gotten so used to throwing things away that still have value. I’m not saying you have to do everything perfectly. We all get that “crunchy mom fatigue” where one day something is good for you and the next day it’s not. But sometimes it’s just about doing the best we can with what we already have. And honestly… wouldn’t it be more wasteful to throw them away? #homesteading #eggshells #naturalremedies #selfsufficient #backyardchickens
we grind it up and put it in water and spray the water on the plants

Too much time & fuel being used. Just let them dry in the sun or air dry them. Then crush them up & mix them into bread or brownies. Let me know how it works b/c I've never tried it! :oD

you can plan to use the stove and grinder while youre already cooking.
but my guess is youre not doing this on a daily basis. probably what once a week or every 2 weeks. how long does it take to save up enough shells??

So using your grinder, and stove isn't energy efficient ?? How do people think supplements are made ?? By hand ? Have people given up thinking ?. Keep doing what you're doing. It's interesting
