There is this thing called weather and airlines literally can not afford to compensate every time a flight is delayed or cancelled because of it especially with the volume of people who now fly, and airlines do still have to compensate if it’s due to maintenance or their crew issues. Even when it is weather passengers are rebooked but expecting an airline that has to pay thousands of employees to compensate for things outside of their control is ridiculous

Southwest has the absolute worst operations because why is a flight from San Francisco to San Diego coming from phoenix from Houston from Dallas. Every other airline operates a single plane that flies that route all day and there’s never a delay

I was stuck in the MIA airport for 15 hours (11am- 2am), at midnight we got a $20 food voucher for a few restaurants… they were all closed by the time we got the voucher 🙃

So uh... do NOT take a Greyhound. Last time I did I was delayed because my bus caught fire twice. Two separate busses, fwoosh. 10/10 would not reccomend.

Once as a teenager our flight home got delayed so they put us up in a hotel for a night, gave us vouchers for dinner, and upgraded our seats to first class. It was amazing.

right!? I got first class (my ticket was for coach) and a hotel just because they over sold the flight and I was willing to take the next one. Not gonna happen now though.

Our flight was cancelled, airline told us not to approach the desk. Husband called and stayed on hold for 7 hours to rebook! 😳😩

There was like a 14 hour delay on a flight out of Dallas for my bf, they gave him a $12 meal voucher… at midnight… when all the food places were closed. 😐
