We’re launching our game rental business this week and already was contacted by our local school for an end of year event for 5th grade grads-so exciting! Just want to add, the first thing they asked for was our clearances. Must have! 📝

You are the best! I purchased everything you sell on Etsy and I just launched the first set of rentals (yard games) hoping it takes off soon 🤞🏻🤞🏻

I can attest to this. I was the activities director at my former middle school for 15 years. And I re-used the same vendors that knew the system, that agreed to our policies, etc.get in with your local activities person if that school has such program. The will also refer you out to other schools. I know I always did. 🙂 wish you were in Cali, you would have business everyday in the inland empire. 💙

Do you have to become an approved vendor through the school district or do you go through each school individually ?

CACTUS & CONFETTI PHOTO BOOTH :
I’m in Arizona and I would love to offer my Photo Booth to schools for prom and dances or any sort of graduation type event. I’m in with one of the PTO for an elementary by my house, but what do you think the best way is to reach out to the school district district like different high school schools?

so much great info! Thank you! Also, how have you started your relationships with schools? Do you call/go by with flyers or event info or have they always contacted you 1st?

Question, because I literally have no idea about any of this lol, but why do you need insurance when requiring people to sign a waiver basically saying the vendor isn’t responsible for any injury/ etc?

I have offered my games to local schools in exchange for advertising of my business to the parents who attend the events. So you’re saying I should still have school fill out the rental agreement?

Do you recommend starting with foam rental machine from Amazon until you can build up your inventory for a professional grade one ?

Do you have a contractual agreement between the owners of your business? I have had people ask me if I have one, and I am the only owner of said business, but they are still telling me that I should probably have one.

This is all great info and advice. The easier the better for anyone doing the event planning. Maybe add a couple reviews of past big events you’ve held as well.
